High-Risk Alcohol Use In the unadjusted models, high-risk alcohol use was associated with lower motivation to quit smoking (OR = 0.78, 95% CI, 0.660.92), but not with having made an attempt to quit smoking (OR = 0.91, 95% CI, 0.771.07) compared to those who reported low-risk alcohol consumption/no alcohol consumption (Table 2)
